Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore and describe health promotion of clinical nurse and how health promoting behavior affects of them.

Methods: The Experiences were explored through in-depth individual interviews with 6 clinical nurses. The analysis of the data was made by phenomenological analytic method suggest by Colaizzi.

Result: The results showed that health promotion experience in clinical nurses consisted eight themes and four
themesclusters: ¡°Indifference of health management practice¡±, ¡° Working environment is Obstacle¡±, Finding of own hygiene¡°, ¡±Interest in the health¡°.

Conclusion: It is necessary to develop an effective health program for clinical nurses how to practice health promotion behaviors and a desirable lifestyle.
